Our daily schedule incorporates a variety of developmentally enriching activities to stimulate creativity in your child with a fun learning environment. Preschool curriculum is defined as both routines and activities that build on understanding self, communicating with others, problem solving, respect for self, others, and the environment. Planned curriculum is posted in the foyer as you enter the center as well as in the classroom. Teachers align the children’s experiences with the California Department of Education Early Learning Content Standards.

We look forward to developing relationships with children and their families. We consider our partnerships with parents to be foundational to our program. Please consider sharing your family's culture or your own unique talents with our classroom.  You are welcome to visit any time.

Our specially designed infant care room is a place where babies feel safe, secure and happy. Personal cribs or sleep mats, separate areas for changing and feeding, and a “no-outside shoes allowed” policy, ensure clean playing, eating and sleeping spaces. Through simple games like peek-a-boo, finger play songs and baby sign for the most basic needs, our loving teachers begin the foundational work for later learning to help infants develop more motor skills.

Fresh homemade food is served three times daily to those on table food; starting with breakfast, followed by lunch and then an afternoon snack.  The Infants not on table food yet receive age appropriate baby food under the California State Food Program guidelines.

We are always busy with singing songs, reading books, doing art projects, and most importantly, reaching individual goals for each child such as rolling over, sitting up, crawling, and clapping hands. The atmosphere here is a friendly and welcoming one. There is always interaction between your child and their teachers!

We never forget that you are your child’s most important teacher, so we’ll work with you, give you daily reports and offer tips on how to reinforce what your child learns in their time with us. Stop by and you will notice the warm, caring environment and our dedication to cleanliness and sanitation.Every moment with an infant is precious and we take advantage of that

Preschool

Our Pre-kindergarten program follows the curriculum set forth by Zoo Phonics and California Department of Education Early Learning Content Standards. Each curriculum area (language arts, reading, math, science etc.) has specific objectives that are to be covered during the year. Mastering letter recognition and sound/letter relationships receives particular emphasis in pre-kindergarten.

Our curriculum is woven into the children's interests. What do you want to do? What will you need to do it? Why is/isn't it working? What can you change to make it work? These are examples of the teaching style, which helps children understand why reading and math are important, develop curiosity, and learn problem solving and early research skills.

Stong social-emotional skills are the necessary foundation for today's children to be effective as an adult. The social-emotional skills children learn include self-control, group cooperation, solving interpersonal conflicts, making effective choices and respect for self and others.

Children are helped to recognize their individuality and special worth, to develop self-discipline, and to develop respect for and understanding of individuals different from themselves. We tailor our lessons to each child's unique learning style. Whether your child is a visual, auditory, or Kinesthetic Learner, our activities will engage and inspire!

Our toddler enrichment program serves as a great introduction to preschool activities, helping young children transition into more structured enrichment activities, while fostering independence.
